We are the only hospital in central Missouri with the highest-accredited Chest Pain Center. That means the top standards of care are used from the moment a heart-attack patient arrives in the Emergency Room, when those critical early minutes count. It’s what you would expect from the first hospital in Jefferson City to bring open-heart surgery to the community. Two decades later, St. Mary’s is still the area’s preferred provider for cardiovascular care.

St. Mary’s also has the community’s only Wound Healing Center with hyperbaric oxygen therapy to treat wounds that are slow to heal due to vascular problems.
