As principal-in-charge of Healthcare Practice Group, Kurt oversees the master planning, programming and design process for healthcare clients. With a background as a healthcare project architect, project manager and medical planner, Kurt has a thorough knowledge of the complex technical, programming and budget issues driving the healthcare industry today.
 Perry Hirtz, Northstar Management Co.
Program Manager
Perry Hirtz is a principal with Northstar Management Co., LLC. He has extensive experience with the design and construction process, including 25 years of active involvement in more than 250 projects with a cumulative value exceeding $500 million. Perry has had the opportunity to participate in various roles in the design and construction process throughout his career including constructor, health care facility manager, health system design & construction area manager and owner’s project management representative. This experience provides him with a unique perspective of the challenges faced in developing and implementing projects. Perry holds an A.A.S. in civil engineering degree, B.S. Construction and an M.B.A.
 Timothy Gunn, Alberici Healthcare Constructors
Construction Project Director
Tim Gunn has worked at Alberici Constructors since 1991 in the healthcare and general building market. His duties include the management of multiple concurrent projects with responsibility for project safety, client satisfaction and financial performance. Under his leadership, several of his projects have achieved regional and national acclaim, including ASHE Vista Awards for SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital and SSM St. Clare Health Center. Tim is a nationally recognized speaker on the topic of lean construction, with presentations to organizations such as the American Society of Healthcare Engineering, Lean Construction Institute Annual Congress and the National Association of Children’s Hospitals and Related Institutions.

Heideman Associates Inc.
Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing / Fire Protection Principal
Tim Koenig, project manager and principal engineer for Heideman Associates, has more than 15 years of experience. Tim’s coordination of the MEP elements on projects enable the design and construction of each component to stay on budget and schedule.
 John Miller, KPFF Consulting Engineers
Structural Principal
John Miller, principal of KPFF, has more than 30 years of experience in the structural engineering industry, serving architects, developers and contractors, and has been responsible for the design of hundreds of buildings of all types across the country, many of which require sophisticated structural engineering analysis and design. His broad practical experience encompasses all facets of the structural design of hospitals and heath care facilities. John is registered as a professional engineer in 21 states and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, American Institute of Steel Construction and Post-Tensioning Institute.

Interior Design Project Manager
Beth Trueblood, associate director at Lawrence Group, has over 30 years of interior design expertise with over 15 of those specializing in healthcare. Prior to joining Lawrence Group in 2007, she headed an independent interior design consulting firm for 10 years.
Mike Bates, Central Missouri Professional Services
Civil Engineer
Mike Bates is co-owner of Central Missouri Professional Services Inc. and has been with the firm since 1998. CMPS has provided surveying, engineering and materials-testing services in Central Missouri since 1969. Mike oversees the 23-person staff, provides final review of plans and specifications and has worked with city, county and state elected and appointed officials. He is registered as a professional engineer in Missouri.
